Encouraging all Virginians to take action to reduce trash and litter in the Commonwealth’s waterways, the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, Governor Bob McDonnell signed a proclamation recognizing June 2013 as Marine Debris Reduction Month in Virginia.
