Collaborating with Fisheries to Reduce By Catch: 30 years of education

Martin Hall (Head of Tuna-Dolphin Program, Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission) shares his experience and lessons learned over the course of his career in reducing accidental catch of dolphins, turtles, and other animals. Hall presented as part of the “Developing Collaborative Fisheries Research Capacity Among Marine Turtle Conservation” workshop at 2014 International Sea Turtle Symposium. The daylong workshop was sponsored by Virginia Sea Grant, World Wildlife Fund, and International Sea Turtle Society.
