Help Shape Virginia Sea Grant
During the Responding to Emerging Issues session, all of our guests were invited to lend their expertise and introduce issues that may face Virginia in the immediate future. This annual discussion helps Virginia Sea Grant continue to set priorities that are relevant to the current needs of the Commonwealth.

The Research Portfolio
Attendees enjoyed presentations about projects funded by Virginia Sea Grant’s Coastal and Marine Science and Coastal Community Adaptation RFP’s.

Cooking Demonstration
In the style of Virginia Sea Grant’s successful, long-running Chefs’ Seafood Symposium, Chef Dale Reitzer of Acacia Restaurant in Richmond performed a seafood cooking demonstration and discussed seafood-related issues that influence chefs and consumers.
